Development Day Gone Deadly

"A fun and engaging development day for Aboriginal young people aged 15 – 18 years old who are within out of home care in New South Wales."

It will be a day where the young people will hear from 3 inspirational and motivational speakers in Australia to empower them and then in between their speeches they will hear from various big known Artists in Australia. They will also hear from respected Aboriginal Elders who get them to be strong and proud of who they truly are.

Carriageworks, 245 Wilson St Eveleigh (corner. Codrington St), EVELEIGH New South Wales 2016.

Because a lot of Aboriginal young people who are within ‘out of home care’ lack the appropriate and cultural support that can also tailor to the needs of being able to learn in a fun way, in a youth way. A lot of Aboriginal young people in care aren’t always exposed to incredible role models and people they are able u to look up to, at ID Know Yourself we want them to dream, aspire, and believe that they can achieve anything they are wanting to do in life. But show them that they are the solution to the problems in their lives and no one can change them but themselves.
